Dr. Carlton “Butch” Cannon, Jr., Class of 1999, will perform with the DSU Jazz Ensemble on April 11 in the Education and Humanities Theatre.

A host of DSU students – joined by DSU President Harry L. Williams, his family, and U.S. Sen. Chris Coons – threw an indoor block party at the Boys and Girls Club on Simons Circle in Dover as part of the March 28 Inspired Day of Service.

Bruce Johnson, reporter/anchor of WUSA-TV in Washington, gives the keynote address at the 2015 Mass Communications Day, held in the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center.

The guest lecture is free and open to the public and will be fascinating to persons of all ages who have an interest in addressing the critical science and technological needs of developing nations in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Amere May and his fellow Hornet Men will face off against Radford University at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 18 at home in the Memorial Hall Gymnasium as part of the College Basketball Invitational.
