  • Test-Optional Policy
Delaware State University provides opportunity and access to students who desire a quality education from a diverse, comprehensive institution. Due to the COVID-19, many ACT and SAT testing dates have been canceled without guaranteeing future test dates being offered for the current class of high school juniors and seniors. These circumstances create barriers and financial implications for potential students to navigate the admissions process at Delaware State University. To continue our service to the community (locally, statewide, and nationally), Delaware State University implemented a Test-Optional Policy until further notice.  Delaware State University’s Test-Optional Policy will provide potential students the ability to apply and receive an admissions decision based on a holistic review (class ranking, GPA, grades, etc.). Delaware State University will provide the Test-Optional to any candidate who was wait listed based on previous test scores (ACT and SAT) submitted and scheduled to retake the exam(s) for reconsideration for Admissions.
