04/11/2015 - 6:18pm S4-15-000196 Warren Franklin Unauthorized use of a credit card A female student reports having her credit card removed from her wallet which was in her dormitory room. This debit card was later utilized to purchase $20.38 worth of food at a Chick-fil-A in Milford, Delaware. Currently, there are no known suspects in this theft and unauthorized credit card fraud. The officer will respond to the Chick-fil-A to view the video footage. Pending Active/Follow-Up
04/11/2015 - 4:48pm S4-15-000195 Evers Hall Cyberporn A female student reported that a video was uploaded to a social media site showing her urinating on the floor, while being heavily intoxicated. The video was eventually taken off of the site. All students involved will be issued a Judicial Infraction for having an unauthorized party, and for consuming alcohol while being under the legal age of 21 years of age. Judicial
04/10/2015 - 10:31pm S4-15-000192 Tubman Hall Offensive Touching A female student reports being pushed by her boyfriend, during a verbal altercation. The boyfriend was issued a Notice of Trespass. Exceptionally Clear/Prosecution Declined
04/10/2015 - 5:45pm S4-15-000191 Conrad Hall Larceny A female student reported her wallet and credit cards stolen. At this time, there are no known suspects in this theft. The victim will inquire into the possible usage of the credit cards, and report back to the officer, should there be any unauthorized activity. Pending Inactive
04/10/2015 - 2:00pm S4-15-000190 MLK Larceny A student initially advised that his backpack containing a clicker, a 15'' Apple Macbook Pro, military documents and numerous orange folders were missing from the MLK Student Center. During the officer's investigation, the backpack was located with the student's belongings inside. There had been no theft. It was discovered to be picked up by the student's friend and returned to him, fully intact with nothing missing. Unfounded
04/09/2015 - 6:55pm S4-15-000189 Wellness and Recreation Center Larceny A male student reports that his North Face jacket, DSU identification card and state driver's license were stolen from the Wellness and Recreation Center men's locker room. Currently, there are no known suspects in this theft. Pending Inactive
04/09/2015 - 7:04pm S4-15-000188 UV3 Simple Assault A female student reports being harassed by her boyfriend on 08 April 2015. The female further advised that she and her boyfriend had had a conversation, but the conversation soon escalated to an argument and that both were yelling. The boyfriend began to kiss the female student against her wishes, but when the victim advised him to stop, he did. The argument continued and the boyfriend had the victim pinned against his dresser. He once again began kissing her and would not stop despite her requests. The victim advised that she became more firm and again instructed him to "stop". When the boyfriend refused, she pushed him off of her. The boyfriend then grabbed the victim's shirt at the collar, forcing her from in front of the dresser, onto his bed. The boyfriend then asked the victim if she was going to allow him to have sex with her. After refusing to do so, the boyfriend advised her to leave. This investigation is Pending Active. 04/09/2015 - 4:55pm S4-15-000186 Wellness and Recreation Center Larceny Female student reports that she had left her cell phone on a treadmill. When she returned to retrieve the phone, it was no longer at the treadmill. There are currently no suspects in this theft. Pending Inactive
04/08/2015 - 9:00pm S4-15-000184 DSU Parking Lot #4 Drug Abuse Violations An officer observed a suspicious vehicle in parking lot #4. The officer approached the vehicle and smelled a strong odor of what was believed to be marijuana emitting from the vehicle. All occupants produced their DSU identification cards and admitted to the officer that they were in-fact smoking marijuana. The officer advised all occupants that they would be issued a single Judicial Infraction for smoking marijuana on the campus. Judicial
04/08/2015 - 4:41pm S4-15-000183 Warren Franklin Burglary Two victims report that unknown subjects removed their XBOX 360 & Playstation 3 gaming systems and televisions from the common area of their dormitory suite. One victim advised that the door leading into the dormitory suite had been unsecured and propped open. The officer entered all stolen property with serial numbers into the R.A.P.I.D. database, with negative results. Pending Inactive
04/08/2015 - 9:20am S4-15-000182 Warren Franklin Burglary Student reports several pair of sneakers and his room keys were stolen from his dormitory room. It is unclear, how the suspect entered the room. There are currently no known suspects in this burglary and theft. Pending Inactive
04/07/2015 - 7:37pm S4-15-000180 Unknown location Unauthorized use of a credit card Student reports getting a bank statement that shows a $1500.00 transaction made on her account. The officer is awaiting the victim's bank statement in order to continue the investigation. Pending Inactive
04/07/2015 - 4:43pm S4-15-000178 Jason Library Larceny Student reported his laptop, wallet and backpack were stolen from the library. An unknown subject had placed the victims backpack in a nearby study room in the library. The victim reports that he recovered the backpack, and that everything was in the backpack with the exception of his wallet. Within a few hours a security officer was given the victim's wallet from an unknown subject who had found the wallet. The $20.00, and several bank cards were removed from the wallet. The victim did cancel his bank cards and will report any unauthorized activity on the cards to the police officer. Pending Inactive
04/05/2015 - 11:08pm S4-15-000173 DSU campus roadway Local Fugitive Officer stopped a motor vehicle driven by a subject with an outstanding active warrant. The subject was arrested without incident and arraigned at magistrate court #7, where he was eventually released. Exceptionally Clear/Prosecution Declined
04/04/2015 - 8:53am S4-15-000172 DSU parking lot Larceny Student reports several items removed from his motor vehicle, which may have been unsecured. The victim's vehicle was parked in a DSU parking lot. The officer was unable to obtain a suspect from viewing any video footage. Pending Inactive
04/03/2015 - 11:54pm S4-15-000171 UV3 Liquor Law Violations Officers were dispatched to a loud unauthorized party at the University Village Apartments. Upon their arrival, one male student was detained for being uncooperative and under the influence of alcohol. The student eventually was arrested, and issued a single criminal summons for being under the legal age to consume alcohol. Cleared by Arrest
04/03/2015 - 3:05pm S4-15-000170 UV3 Larceny Student initially reported her laptop stolen. Within a few hours, the laptop was recovered by the officer from a Residential Manager who had observed the laptop unattended. The laptop was ultimately returned to the owner. There was no theft. Unfounded
04/03/2015 - 4:20am S4-15-000169 UV2 Larceny Female student advised the officer that she had responded to an unauthorized party in the University Village Apartments. While there, the victim, placed her keys on a table. When the victim returned to retrieve her keys, they were not there. After questioning several subjects that were at the party, the victim and officer were unable to determine who may have removed the keys. The renter of the apartment was issued a single judicial infraction for having an unauthorized party in the apartment. Pending Inactive
04/02/2015 - 11:52am S4-15-000168 Laws Hall Larceny Student reports that someone removed her laptop from her room. The victim suspects her roommate at this time. The officer was able to locate the suspect, and found the property to be in her possession. The suspect was arrested without incident. Cleared by Arrest
04/02/2015 - 12:08pm S4-15-000167 Jenkins Hall Larceny A student reported that he had last observed his wallet in his drawer at Evers Hall. The victim further advised that his girlfriend exited his residence, leaving the door unsecured. The victim later advised that he later received a twitter message advising him that his wallet had been located in the nearby restroom. The victim retrieved the wallet, but reported that $120.00 USC was missing from the wallet. There are no active suspects in this theft at this time. Pending Inactive
04/01/2015 - 3:10am S4-15-000166 DSU parking lot Criminal Mischief An officer investigated a report of a female student that had been possibly harassed by several other female students for unknown reasons. The female victim reports that on this reporting date, she discovered one of the tires on her personal vehicle had been severely damaged. There are no known suspects in this criminal mischief at this time. Pending Inactive
04/01/2015 - 9:47am S4-15-000165 Wellness and Recreation Center Domestic Violence (Verbal) Officer was dispatched to the Wellness and Recreation Center for a verbal domestic dispute in progress. Upon the officer's arrival, it was determined that the female student had removed money from a wallet belonging to her present boyfriend. The boyfriend attempted to retrieve his money, when both students commenced arguing. The boyfriend eventually took the girlfriend's cell phone in an attempt to get his money back. Both parties eventually returned each other's property. Service Clear
04/01/2015 - 1:30am S4-15-000164 L L Commons Forcible Sex Offense Female student was visiting a male student in the male's dormitory room. When she proceeded to leave the room, the male forcibly pulled her against him, and eventually fondled her breasts. The male then attempted to pull the female victim's shirt off and pants down. The male attempted to sexually assault the victim, but was unsuccessful when the victim kicked him off of her. The victim does not want to divulge the suspect's name nor describe the male suspect at this time. Exceptionally Clear/No Victim Cooperation
03/31/2015 - 8:00am S4-15-000163 Wellness and Recreation Center Larceny Student reports that $100.00 was missing from his bookbag, which was inside of an unsecured locker. There are no known suspects in this theft at this time. Pending Inactive
03/31/2015 - 4:27pm S4-15-000162 Jenkins Hall Burglary Student reports that her wallet was stolen from her dormitory room which was unsecured at the time of the theft. Within a half hour, the victim's wallet was returned to her, after being discovered in a bathroom stall. Everything was intact in the victim's wallet with the exception of $150.00. Currently, there are no known suspects in this theft. Pending Inactive
