  Ronald E. McNair Program Eligibility Requirements

 

  • All applicants must be low-income, first -generation college students
  • May be from a group under-represented in graduate school (African-American, Hispanic and American Indian/Alaskan Native).
  • All applicants must be either a rising junior or senior.
  • Must be enrolled at Delaware State University as a full-time, matriculating student.
  • Must have a grade point average (GPA) of 2.8 or higher.
  • Must be a United States citizen or have permanent residence status in the United States.
  • Must be considering graduate study. If your interest is in law, engineering, medicine or MBA, you are not eligible for the McNair Program unless you are pursuing a joint degree.
