In addition to breaking the total enrollment record for the 5th consecutive year, DSU also set a new record for undergraduates – 4,259

Dr. Aprille Ericsson, the first African American female to earn a Ph.D. in Engineering at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Currently a NASA engineer, Dr. Ericsson will speak at DSU at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18 in the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center.

(L-r) Dr. Daniela Radu and Dr. Cheng-Yu Lai, both faculty researchers in the DSU Department of Chemistry, will use a $250,000 U.S. Department of Energy grant to study the effectiveness of a particular way of capturing carbon dioxide for recycling. Dr. Lai is the principal investigator of the grant; Dr. Radu is co-investigator.

Eight DSU groups take a Nikon moment to pose before participating in the Oct. 25 5K Heartwalk in Dover. The combined groups raised a University-record $1,900.
