Lt. Col. (Ret.) Michael A. Hales is the new director of the DSU Aviation Program. There are also two new appointments in Institutional Advancement.

Students enrolled as majors in the deactivated program will be able to finish their degree or, if desired, change their major.

More than 300 students attended the April 2 Inspired Day of Service opening ceremony before fanning out to seven location in Delaware to do community service work.

About 25 alumni of the DSU Mass Comm Program attended the annual event to share their professional media experience with the students.

Mr. Sherard and Ms. Carter accepted the award on behalf of a team of 65 students who raised money for the association's Rehoboth Walk event. 

Kyle Sheppard was interviewed about his recent trip to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's headquarters in Seattle, Wash.
