Delaware State University invites parents of current students to join us Saturday, February 23, 2013, for our second annual Parent University.
WHEN
February 23. Registration begins at 9 a.m.; the day concludes at 3 p.m.

WHAT IS IT?
At Parent University, you'll learn more about:
• Parent-to-Parent Mentoring
Presented by Dr. Robin Williams, first lady
Guidance and support for parent mentors and mentees alike
• Getting a Jump on the Fall 2013 Semester
Tips for getting your students advised, registered, housed and paid up for the fall semester
• Career Plans Toward Graduation
Preparing your student for employment opportunities, internships and cooperative education
• Shining the Spotlight on Academic Rigor
A glimpse into several faculty members' classroom teachings
A complimentary lunch will be served.

There is no fee to attend Parent University.

REGISTER NOW
Online registration for Parent University is now open. Sign up by visiting www.desu.edu/parent-university-registration. The registration deadline is the end of the day, Monday, February 18.
STAY FOR THE GAME
At Parent University check-in, get your VIP Basketball Game discount card for the day's double-header -- it will entitle each participant to one $8 discount ticket. DSU will take on Norfolk State (women's game is at 2 p.m., men's game at 4 p.m.). Discount cards will be redeemed at Memorial Hall Gymnasium's Ticket Windows, which open at 2 p.m.
