If inclement weather causes school closings in the area that DSU is hosting students for a Hornet Day, Hornet Day will be canceled with the hope of rescheduling. Please monitor the DSU website for any closings or cancelations on our campus. Thank you.Come check us out!Are you still trying to figure out which college to attend, but you’re unsure where to begin? Well, look no further! Delaware State University is your passport to your future! Join us for our 5th Annual DSU Hornet Days for Prospective Students. We are going to pick you up and bring you to DSU! Just click on the List of Pick-Up Locations link to find the bus stop nearest you. RSVP online. Get your Permission Slip signed and submitted to us and we'll see you soon! What Are Hornet Days? Hornet Days are designed to give high school seniors the opportunity to see what it’s like to be a student at Delaware State University. Come spend the day with students and visit thought-provoking classes with expert faculty, learn about co-curricular activities, tour our expanding campus and have lunch in the Village Café. Our knowledgeable admissions counselors will be on hand to meet with you about the admissions process, scholarship opportunities and financial aid. There may even be an opportunity for you to be accepted on the spot if you meet all entrance requirements! What Will You Be Doing? During DSU Hornet Days for Prospective Students you will have the opportunity to gauge what it is like to be a student at DSU. You will have a chance to spend the day with DSU students visiting classes, touring the campus, meeting faculty, having lunch in the Village Café and much more. Just wait until you hear our Drum-line (from our Band - "The Approaching Storm") play! Or see the members of our Greek Organizations stroll. Click on the Frequently Asked Questions link to see a summary of the schedule for the day. Most importantly, you will have a chance to meet admissions counselors who will inform you of our admissions procedures, scholarship and financial aid opportunities and maybe even accept you on the spot, if you bring all of the following with you:
Driving? Let us help direct you!From Points North—Follow Route 1 all the way to Dover, then take Exit 104. After taking the 104 exit, turn left at the light onto Route 13. The campus entrance is on your right at the sixth light. From Points South—Take Route 13 or Route 113 north (whichever is more convenient) to Dover. Stay on Route 13 through Dover until you see the campus directly across the street from Dover Downs Raceway. We are on the left when traveling from 13 N. Please park in lot 16 and go to the Bank of America building for check-in upon arrival. You may call us at 302.854.6351 if we can be of further assistance in making your visit a great one!
