DSU Presents Scott Ludwig Exhibition in the DSU Arts Center/Gallery
The DSU Art Center/Gallery ‘s October and November exhibition features the work of a visual artist and art instructor at DSU President Harry L. Williams’ alma mater, Appalachian State University.

Scott Ludwig’s exhibition “Versus/Traverses” is a diverse array of works that represents a convergence of digital media, photography, painting, drawing, papermaking and various sculptural forms, all which compliment his primary medium – printmaking.
“Verses/Traverses” – which is on exhibition from late September to late November – is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday in the DSU Arts Center/Gallery, which is located near the first floor entrance of the William C. Jason Library on campus.
Mr. Ludwig’s exhibition – which has been shown nationally and internationally –represent a confluence of investigations initially inspired by residencies and travel excursions to numerous locales, including China, the Louisiana wetlands, British Columbia and California’s Death Valley.
In addition to the artworks Mr. Ludwig brought for display at DSU, he also created a temporary installation on a wall of the Arts Center/Gallery.
Mr. Ludwig is the area coordinator of printmaking in the Department of Art at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. He has a BA in Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Fine Art in Printmaking from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
