DSU Wears R.E.D.
Our Colors Show We Care: DSU Wears R.E.D. on Fridays to Support Our Deployed Troops
Delaware State University’s signature red isn’t just our pride – it’s now our way of showing support for deployed service members every Friday. November is National Veterans and Military Families Month, and by wearing our cherished DSU red, we’re joining the nationwide R.E.D. (Remember Everyone Deployed) Friday movement while showcasing our Hornet spirit.
Starting November 1, our community will transform our everyday school pride into a powerful message of support. Every time you wear DSU red on Friday – whether it’s your DSU hoodie, t-shirt, or any red apparel – you’re not just showing school spirit, you’re standing with our deployed service members, including our own DSU student-veterans and their families.
Wearing red is a small gesture with a powerful impact. We invite the entire DSU community—students, faculty, and staff—to join us by wearing red this Friday and sharing the message on social media. Share your DSU red pride on social media using #WearRED4TroopsDSU, #DSURedFriday, #HornetsSupportTroops, or #RememberEveryoneDeployed to show how Hornets support our troops.
Because at Delaware State University, It All Matters – and our colors prove it.
