To post your event or announcement, please email your item including any attachments for inclusion to enews [at] desu.edu. Email enews [at] desu.edu if you would like to be put on our mailing list.
Newsletters for alumni and friends are also available. If you would like to sign up to receive a newsletter, please give us your information.
Website consulting
The Marketing and Communications Department oversees all the content on the main University website. For most departments, a content manager has been assigned to assist with Web updates. If you need assistance with your pages, or you are not sure who the content manager is in your area, please contact webmaster [at] desu.edu.
Delivery expectations
Our services are targeted and created especially to get your message to the right audience. A great deal of care and consideration goes into each piece we create, and while we always strive to complete projects in a timely manner, a certain amount of time must be allotted to each job for creative and production.
Marketing requests require a minimum 14-business day request period. For timely, less intensive requests, efforts will be made to accommodate the project in a shorter timeframe as workflow and schedules allow. Should your work order have a more restrictive timeline, please contact the department to discuss your specific needs.
Projects Requiring Longer Timeframes
Depending on the scope of the project, the uniqueness of the design/art requested and marketing team workloads, the following project types may require an additional five to 10 production days:
- New projects
- New designs for existing projects
- Large booklets
- Multifaceted projects
Should the specifications of your request require a longer timeline to complete, you will be contacted.
Upon proofing and final approval, normal print orders take up to 10 business days to complete production. Receipt of a PO is necessary prior to sending completed artwork to print.
