Creating Accessible Electronic Content
While editing existing materials for accessibility is quite time-consuming, proactively creating new materials using accessible formatting generally does not require any additional time at all. With that said, if there are any materials you are preparing to create or edit for your course or department, please encourage you to consider applying accessible design formatting.
The links below walk a person through the available formatting and show how to create accessible Word, PDF, and PPT documents. The Center for Disability Resources (CDR) would be happy to provide additional guidance if needed.
