Our Tutors

Tutors are highly qualified; they have successfully taken the courses, been recommended by faculty, and meet the minimum GPA requirement.  Tutors attend training and professional development workshops throughout the semesters to keep abreast of tutoring best practices.

Professional Development for Tutors:

CRLA International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC): 

The College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA) Certification provides meaningful tutor training engagement so tutors may provide optimal academic support to their peers. Tutors will gain knowledge of best practices for academic support programs and services, gain increased confidence in the content area and public speaking, be a part of a culture of learning, and strengthen their resumes in the form of obtaining an internationally recognized certificate.
