DSU Night at the Biggs Museum of American Art

An evening at the museum for just the DSU community!

Special access to exhibitions including:

  • Vision & Voices: A Juried Exhibition of Mid-Atlantic African American Artists: This exhibition presents art from all visual art media. Three DSU alumni were selected to be included in this exhibition and DSU Art Program faculty, Lori Crawford, was the adjudicator.
  • Guild Hall: An Adventure in the Arts: This exhibition includes artwork by Jackson Pollock, Willem and Elaine de Kooning, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Chuck Close. Paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, and mixed media works will trace the progression of art movements in the U.S. from Impressionism to Abstract Expressionism to Contemporary Arts of the 1980s and 1990s.
  • DSU shuttle bus to and from the museum.
  • Guild Hall exhibition lecture and tour at 6:30pm.
  • Refreshments
