DSU Fundraising Record Broken at Oct. 25 Heartwalk

DSU’s Fairy Godsister organization was one of eight Del State groups to participate and raise money for the 5K Heartwalk on Oct. 25.Delaware State University was well represented at the Oct. 25 Heartwalk in Dover with more than 60 Hornet walkers participating in the fundraiser.
The total amount raised by all of the DSU groups totaled about $2,017 – about $100 more than the previous DSU record set in 2012.
DSU fundraising participant groups included the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., DSU Bowling Team, Fairy Godsisters, DSU Women’s Equestrian Team, Delta Sigma Theta Inc., Psychology Club, Marianne Carter’s team, and Health & Fitness Leaders Club.
The 5K Heartwalk was held at the Terry Campus of Delaware Technical and Community College.
