Dr. Melikechi Honored at African Engineering Conference

Dr. Noureddine Melikechi, dean of the College of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Technology, and vice president of Research, Innovation & Economic Development, recently received an honor during a recent conference of the African Society for Engineering Management, held Nov. 15 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Conference presented Dr. Melikechi with an Excellence Award for Youth Empowerment and Development in Africa. The award particularly noted Dr. Melikechi’s work in his native country of Algeria.

Dr. Melikechi gave a motivational lecture on “Science and Technology” during the conference.
