DSU Choir to Present Holiday Concert Dec. 7
The Delaware State University Concert Choir will hold its annual Holiday Concert at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 in the Education and Humanities Theater on campus.
The 60-voice Concert Choir – which is under the direction of Dr. Lloyd Mallory Jr., director of DSU Choral Activities – will perform a variety of classical, spirituals and holiday season music. The concert will include selections from J.S. Bach’s Magnificat and C. Saint-Saens’ Christmas Oratorio, as well as a variety of Christmas spirituals and traditional Christmas arrangements.
The pianist will be Evelyn Curenton.
Tickets for the concert are $5 for the general public and can be purchased at the door.
