DSU Hosts Solo Flight Academy for HS students.

The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP) recently held a two-week Solo Flight Academy for about 20 high school-aged students at the Delaware Air Park.

A combination of OBAP and DSU Aviation Program instructors conducted a cursory and condensed ground school and guided the students through approximately 10-20 hours of flight time, culminating in an actual solo event for each young pilot.
