DSU Debate Team Argues Capital Punishment in NJ

The DSU Debate Team recently traveled to Trenton City, N.J., to engage other college students in a debate on capital punishment.

Held on March 18, the DSU Debate Team took the affirmative position on the issue of capital punishment, making their arguments against the con positions of college students who were all graduates of Trenton Central High School.

Although it was a non-competition debate, Dr. Sam Hoff, advisor of the DSU Debate Team, said the DSU students performed well in the event.
