The DSU Drumline – a group of percussionists from Delaware State University’s Approaching Storm Marching Band – set the rhythm for race fans on Sunday, May 15 as the group performed prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Race at Dover Downs.

The DSU Drumline performed on the track as well as outside the stadium in front of the famed Monster Mile statue as a way of educating the visiting race fans about the 125th anniversary of DSU.

In addition, the DSU Drumline also performed on May 14 at the invitation of the Del-Mar-Va Council of Boys Council to take part in the dedication of a new outdoor amphitheater at its Akridge Scout Reservation located just southeast of Dover.
