Kent County Plant Managers meet at DSU
Delaware State University was the host site for the July 17 gathering of the Kent County Economic Partnership Plant Managers, held at the Claibourne Smith Administration Building on campus.
Dee Myers, director of the DSU Training and Technology Center, gave a presentation on how Professional Certifications can help grow their businesses and retain employees.
Judy Diogo, president of the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce, gave news on CDCC events. Linda Parkowski, the new executive director of the Kent County Economic Partnership, told the gathering that in her new role she is looking forward to many great partnerships in Kent County.
Dr. Vita Pickrum, vice president of DSU Institutional Advancement, and DSU Provost Tony Allen welcomed everyone to the event and stated that DSU will continue to strive to be a valuable asset and economic engine for Kent County and the State of Delaware.
