University Holds Career Opportunity Day for employees

New roles are available for Delaware State University employees and the institution’s Office of Human Resources recently held its inaugural Career Opportunity Day to provide guidance and assistance for such possibilities. Dawn Howard-Bailey, Asst. VP of HR, there is always an opportunity for internal talent to seek other opportunities at Del State.

Representatives from various University colleges and administrative offices were on hand on Feb. 22 in the Martin Luther King Student Center Parlor A, where they provided information about their departments and the open positions that are available.

“This was an internal recruitment event designed to inspire and engage employees to apply for new roles within the University,” said Dawn Howard-Bailey, Assistant Vice President of Human Resources. “We want to retain our employees, and we want them to focus on their passions and have the opportunity to communicate with other departments where their talents could also be valuable.”
