DSU Downtown 5K Run/Walk, Spring Fest, Jazz Concert – Photos
Delaware State University connected with the Dover community in a big way on Saturday, April 22, with two events around its DSU Downtown campus and then culminated the day with a jazz concert on its main campus.
The University kicked off the day with a morning 5K walk and run that coursed through the neighborhood northwest of DSU Downtown. The day continued with its annual DSU Downtown Spring Festival, which featured food, games, music performance as well as the presence of vendors and social services organizations.
Due to the rainy evening that ensued, the originally planned Jazz Under the Stars concert was moved indoors to the Education and Humanities Building on the main campus, featuring four performing groups and a solo artist..
