Chinese New Year Gala held at DSU

The culture of China abounded on the stage of the William B. DeLauder E&H Theatre on Feb. 18 where a Chinese New Year Gala was held.

The participants and performers in the Chinese New Year Gala included students from Delaware State University, the Caesar Rodney and Appoquinimink school districts, as well as from China’s Beihua University and Xiamen University.

The event also featured a performance by renowned Chinese singer Ye Jia.

The Chinese New Year Gala was presented by the DSU Office of International Affairs and the University’s Chinese Language and Culture Research Center.
