DSU nursing faculty named on Delaware Today’s Top Nurses 2024 list

Delaware Today magazine has named three Delaware State University faculty members in their recently published “Top Nurses 2024” list in the First State.

In the May edition of the magazine, under the category of “Academic Educators,” included are DSU Department of Nursing faculty members:

Dr. Tracy Harpe, Associate Chair and Assistant Professor of Nursing. She has been at DSU for six years. Her specialty is labor and delivery nursing.
Dr. Colleen Jimenez, Adjunct Instructor. In addition to teaching nursing at DSU since 2021, she is a labor and delivery nurse at Bayhealth Hospital.
Dr. Karen Panunto, Associate Professor and Director of the Master of Science in Nursing Program. She has been a DSU Nursing faculty member since 2021; before that taught nursing at Wesley College for 26 years. Dr. Panunto’s specialty is in community nursing.

According to Delaware Today, the Top Nurses 2024 were chosen by their professional peers via an online survey conducted by the Delaware Nurses Association. Only Delaware-licensed nurses were permitted to vote.
